The Lycée Français International Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio in Port-Vila is recruiting several locally contracted teachers with the general mission of:
Developing students’ knowledge and skills, as well as their critical thinking. You support them in exploring career opportunities and guide them in their educational choices while providing them with the tools to think, understand the world they live in, and develop their ability to express ideas and create concepts.
You contribute to building students’ educational and academic paths, transmitting knowledge, and facilitating learning. Your role includes teaching time, lesson preparation, grading, communication with parents for student follow-up, participation in school life (such as class councils, teaching councils, and pedagogical councils), and teamwork collaboration.
2nd Degré:
A Mathematics Teacher – Full-time position (18 hours per week), with hours distributed between middle school and high school. Position subject to availability.
Permanent contract (CDI).
Start date: August 1, 2025.

A thorough knowledge of the official curriculum and the ability to implement it with the required rigor and high standards, a passion for innovative teaching practices, project-based learning, and interdisciplinary work will be considered valuable assets.
Initiative, adaptability, teamwork, and strong interpersonal skills are essential qualities for this position. Proficiency in English is an additional advantage.

The Lycée Français de Port-Vila is seeking a full-time locally contracted Primary School Teacher.
A strong knowledge of the official curriculum, proficiency in the French language, mastery of subject-specific knowledge and pedagogy, as well as the ability to design and implement learning activities adapted to a diverse student body, are essential. Organizational skills, initiative, adaptability, teamwork, and strong interpersonal abilities are also key assets for this position.
All experience and qualifications must be documented in the application file with supporting evidence, such as inspection or observation reports, attestations from school principals, and copies of degrees and diplomas.
Proficiency in English is an additional advantage.
