Smiles… thanks to « Dress Classy for Money Day 2018 »

The kits, bought thanks to the funds raised on « Dress Classy for Money » Day late 2019, were distributed last February and March – directly on Ambae, as the population was able to get back to their island.
400 « individual student kits » et 9 « school kits » were handed over to several primary schools.
Please find below some testimonies and photos of the distribution by volunteers from Vanuatu Red Cross Association.

This action has been a real success all along, thanks to all of you ! And again, congratulations to the students – now in 1ère- who organized it !

Everything from the purchasing of the items, packing and distribution of the school kits was a uccess. The principals, teachers and students were excited to receive the kits knowing that other students are helping them through the different challenges they are facing in rebuilding their schools after the disaster. The Kits will not only help the children’s psychologically but it will also help the students academically, the parents and schools financially. They appreciatewhat the donors have done for them and are thankful for their generosity in suppling them with the kits.

The individual student kits put a smile on every student who received it and each principal and teacher who received the school activity kit also smiled knowing that they are receiving something that will help them rebuild their school.

The principals, teachers and students appreciate what Lycée Français de Port Vila students, Solidarité Vanuatu and Vanuatu Red
Cross Society have put together to help them to help them.

“We are very thankful for these kits, we asked that you convey our thanks to the students of thisFrench school because this kit will help us a lot in settling in to our new environment and will help the students and school a lot in completing our learning activities.”

“Most of our students don’t have what’s inside these individual students kit and our schools lost most of its sports kit during the evacuation but these kits will help us a lot in running our school sports activities and will also help the students to complete their activities inside the classroom.
Thank you very much to the donors and Vanuatu Red Cross for making it possible for us to receive these kits.”
