Challenges of Asia, the film of seconds
As part of a competition organized by the French lycée of Kuala-Lumpur the students of the group « literature and society » wrote a short film about the theme of global warming. After writing the script in common, they imagined the storyboard then the dialogues and finally made the filming.
Here is the « pitch » of our film:
In 2034, Vanuatu’s Enzo representative at a conference on climate change seeks to convince other countries responsible for the disasters his country faces. He then tells them a story: what would be the life of a vanuataise who would have been forced to leave her archipelago threatened by climate change? Refugee in Australia, Alfonia, raises only her little girl who does not understand the sadness of her mother, nor what she does in the evening: dances, drawings on the floor, a strange necklace … One day, her daughter, Alviola , seeks to understand the sadness of his mother.
