USP Competitions

Since 2002, the Lycée français has taken part in the University of the South Pacific Competitions. Each year these contests are held on Emalus campus in Port-Vila. All the secondary schools of the capital are invited to participaten to USP Open Day Competitions.

2003 USP Competition
In 2003 the Lycée français students won the first prize for all the contests: the interschool quiz, the science model competition and the public speaking competition. The fisrt prize was a computer that we now use in our English claasroom. Congratulations!



Science Model Competition
Nazario, Samantha, Christopher and Jean-Paul worked on a 3D model representing environmental issues.



Science Model Competition
Alain, Robert, Sergane and Alexandre worked a 3D model representing the geological composition of Efate Island.



2004 USP Competition
Kanaka; Xavier and Fine poudly represented the Lycée français de Port Vila at the USP competition. They won the first prize for the Interschool Competition.



2005 USP Public Speaking Competition
Samanthe, Amos and Auréli represented our school for the public speaking competition. They had to speak in English in front of the audience and the jury for fifteen minutes. The topic this year was about tourism in Vanuatu.



2005 USP Interschool Competition
Ludovic, Sali and Lydiana represented the Lycée français at the 2005 Interschool Competition. They had to answer questions in biology, geology, physics, geography and agriculture in English. Well done!
